The 6 Best Bluetooth Trackers for iPhone of 2026, Ranked & Reviewed

The short answer

The Apple AirTag (2nd Generation) is the best tracker for iPhone owners: Precision Finding on iPhone and Apple Watch, a 50% louder speaker and an upgraded Ultra Wideband chip. The Chipolo Loop is the best rechargeable alternative with a 125 dB ring and a 2-year warranty. The Chipolo CARD fits a wallet, and the UGREEN 4-pack is the budget way to tag four items.

The thing nobody tells you about third-party iPhone trackers is that most of them are not on the same network as an AirTag by default. Some are certified for Apple's Find My network, and some use their own app and only locate items near another phone with that app installed. A tracker that cannot reach Find My is only a Bluetooth beeper with a short leash.

So this ranking begins with network support. We reviewed six trackers priced from under $25 to the $25 to $50 bracket and scored them on the Primea framework: Find My support, precision finding, speaker volume, battery type and form factor. We note when a tag works only with iOS, because it affects anyone sharing items with an Android user.

Before you buy

What Actually Matters

01

Find My network

Find My is Apple's crowd-sourced finding network, and a certified tag can be located by nearby iPhones. Look for the words Find My or MFi on the listing. Tags that use a private app only report location when another user of that app is nearby, so coverage is poor.

02

Precision Finding

Ultra Wideband lets an iPhone show an arrow and distance to the tag instead of only a map pin and a beep. The AirTag has it, and the third-party tags here do not list it. If you lose things at home or in a bag, this is the feature that saves time.

03

Speaker volume

A louder speaker helps when a tag is buried in a coat or couch. The Chipolo Loop rings up to 125 dB, the AirTag is 50% louder than the first generation and the MSEBENT reaches about 70 dB. Look for a decibel number on the listing.

04

Battery

Replaceable coin cells last about a year and cost little, while rechargeable tags like the Chipolo Loop last up to a year per charge and need a charger. UGREEN lists up to two years. Check the battery type before buying, since a hard-to-open case makes replacement a chore.

05

Android sharing

Some tags are iOS only, while the Chipolo models work with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub. If someone you share with uses Android, a dual-network tag matters. Check the listing for both networks, and for sharing limits.

In-depth reviews

Our Ranked Picks, Reviewed

1

Best Overall

Apple AirTag (2nd Generation)

Our verdict: Precision Finding on iPhone and Apple Watch with a 50% louder speaker.

The second-generation AirTag uses Apple's Find My network, adds Precision Finding on both iPhone and Apple Watch, and has an upgraded Ultra Wideband chip with Bluetooth. The speaker is listed as 50% louder than before, and you can share an AirTag with trusted contacts and with 50 plus airlines.

It wins because Precision Finding turns the last few feet of a search into an arrow and a distance, instead of a beep to chase. The Chipolo trackers use Find My but not Ultra Wideband precision. The price is in the under $25 bracket, the lowest of the Find My options here.

Buy it if you have an iPhone and want the strongest finding experience. The caveat is that it has no keyring hole, so you need an accessory for keys.

Watch out for

  • −No built-in keyring hole
  • −Apple-only experience

Buy it if: iPhone and Apple Watch owners.

Skip it if: You use Android or want a rechargeable tag.

2

Best Rechargeable

Chipolo Loop Rechargeable Tracker

Our verdict: USB-C rechargeable, up to 125 dB and a 2-year warranty on Find My or Find Hub.

The Chipolo Loop is rechargeable over any USB-C charger (not included), lasts up to a year per charge, rings at up to 125 dB and works with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub. A 2-year warranty backs it, and the loop shape clips to keys.

It ranks second because its listing names no Ultra Wideband precision like the AirTag's, so you find it by sound and map location, not by arrow. In return, it is rechargeable, supports both Apple and Google networks, and rings far louder than any tag here. The Find My or Find Hub choice is set during setup and applies to one network at a time.

Buy it for keys and bags. It sits in the $25 to $50 bracket.

Skip it if: You want Ultra Wideband tracking.

3

Best for Wallets

Chipolo CARD Wallet Tracker

Our verdict: A thin wallet card with Qi magnetic charging and Find My or Find Hub support.

The Chipolo CARD is a thin wallet card tracker with a rechargeable battery rated up to a year per charge, Qi magnetic charging (charger not included), a 2-year warranty, and Find My or Google Find Hub support.

It ranks third because it is a single-purpose design: a card fits a wallet or passport sleeve, but it will not clip to keys. Within that role it is the best option in the group, since a round tag adds bulk to a wallet. Wireless charging also means no ports to wear out.

Buy it for wallets and travel documents. It costs $25 to $50, the same as the Loop. The speaker is smaller than a keyring tag's, so finding it in a bag is harder.

Skip it if: You need to clip it to keys.

4

Best Multi-Pack

UGREEN FineTrack Air Tracker Tags 4 Pack

Our verdict: Four Apple MFi-certified tags with a replaceable battery rated up to two years.

UGREEN's four-pack is Apple MFi certified for Find My on iOS only, with a replaceable battery listed at up to two years, a battery check in the app, and out-of-range alerts with Lost Mode.

It ranks fourth because it is iOS only and offers no stated speaker volume or precision finding. What it offers is breadth: the longest battery life listed, a replaceable cell and four tags for under $25. For luggage, a backpack, a bike and a set of keys, that is a lot of coverage for the money.

Buy it if you tag many items. The caveat is that it excludes Android users, so you cannot share the tags with a partner on Android.

5

Best Rated for Splashes

ILOUYU Bluetooth Tracker 4 Pack

Our verdict: Four IP67 tags that weigh 7.2 g each and run on a CR2032 cell.

ILOUYU's four-pack is MFi certified for the Find My app only, IP67 rated against splashes and dust, uses a replaceable CR2032 battery rated up to one year and weighs 7.2 g per tag. Left-behind reminders are included.

It ranks fifth because the battery life is half of UGREEN's two years, and the listing gives no speaker volume. Its IP67 rating is the standout: water resistance matters for a tag clipped to a dog collar, a bike or a gym bag.

Choose it for outdoor gear. Each tag measures 1.24 by 1.24 by 0.34 inches, so it is small enough for most keyrings.

6

Best Colour Pair

MSEBENT Air Tags 2 Pack

Our verdict: One black and one white tag, up to 70 dB, with IP67 only when in the silicone case.

MSEBENT's two-pack includes one black and one white tag, a replaceable CR2032, sharing with the owner plus up to five people, and a speaker of up to about 70 dB. Its IP67 rating applies only with the silicone holder fitted.

It ranks last because the volume is the quietest here and the water rating is conditional, so a tag out of its case is not protected. The sharing feature is the useful part: up to five people can see the tag, which helps families.

Buy it for a family sharing a car key or a pet carrier. It costs under $25, but compare it with the four-packs above, which give twice as many tags.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these work without an iPhone?+

The AirTag, UGREEN and ILOUYU are iOS only. The Chipolo Loop and CARD work with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, so only they suit Android phones.

What mistake do people make with trackers?+

Buying a tag that is not on Find My. The UGREEN and ILOUYU list MFi certification for Find My, while generic tags may not. Check the listing for MFi or Find My support.

Is the AirTag worth it over the Chipolo Loop?+

For iPhone owners, yes: Precision Finding on iPhone and Apple Watch is unique. The Chipolo Loop rings louder at 125 dB and recharges, but it lacks Ultra Wideband.

How do I set one up?+

Pull the battery tab or turn the tag on, then follow the Find My prompt on your iPhone. Chipolo tags ask you to choose Find My or Find Hub first.

How do I replace the battery?+

UGREEN, ILOUYU and MSEBENT use coin cells that twist or pop open. Chipolo tags recharge instead. Check the battery level in the app before a trip, and pack a spare cell for the coin-cell models.

Can a tag be used to track a person?+

Trackers are for belongings. Using one to follow another person without consent is wrong and often illegal. Use tags only on your own belongings, and share access only with people who agree to it.

Final take

The Apple AirTag (2nd Generation) is the tracker to buy if you carry an iPhone, because Precision Finding and a louder speaker make nearby searches fast. Choose the Chipolo Loop for rechargeable keys with a 125 dB ring, the CARD for wallets, and the UGREEN four-pack for luggage and bags. Confirm Find My support before buying anything else.
