Best Overall
Shintenchi 6-Tier Bookshelf + 2 Doors
Our verdict: Four open shelves, two doors and a 300 lb total capacity.
This Shintenchi stands 70.9 inches tall and measures 23.6 inches wide and 9.3 inches deep, built from P2 grade MDF and steel. It has four open shelves, two concealing doors, a fixed rod and a 300 lb total capacity. It costs $50 to $100.
The doors are why it leads: you can display some books and hide the rest, which keeps a bedroom calm. At 300 lb total, it also holds twice what NUMENN does, and its 9.3 inch depth keeps the walkway clear.
Buy it for a bedroom with mixed clutter. The caveat is height and material. At 70.9 inches it should be anchored to the wall, and MDF will not feel as rigid as an all-metal frame.
